Filipino American Idol Season 11 Contestant, Jessica Sanchez

Jessica Sanchez, Filipino-American appeared on America’s Got Talent at age of 11 is back  after five years to conquer the singing competition and showcase  her talent in front of the world in American Idol Season 11.



Though we didn’t see much of her before Vegas — when she sang “The Prayer” — what we’ve now seen of the San Diego resident makes us wonder where Idol had been hiding her. Jessica wowed the judges — and us — with her take on Jennifer Hudson's "I Love You I Do" in the Semifinals, which earned her a spot in the Top 13.

Currently, Jessica is a high school student, hoping to ease the financial burdens of her unemployed mother with her singing career.
